Unmanaged Listing
General
If you are an existing eBay seller and want to manage your Channel inventory based on Magento data, you can use the Unmanaged Listing functionality. To import Unmanaged Items to M2E Pro, the corresponding option must be enabled in your Account configurations (eBay > Configuration > Accounts > Unmanaged Listings):
All imported Unmanaged Items can be found under eBay > Listings > Unmanaged. Items from the different eBay accounts/sites will be stored in separate Listings.
You can Reset items from your Unmanaged Listings. It will take up to 24 hours to import them anew.
By opening a Listing, you can review the related Items: their title, SKU, product identifier, current quantity, price, and status on the Channel.
You can manage the items in bulk using the mass Actions menu: link/unlink the Items, move them to M2E Pro Listing, or remove them from the Unmanaged Listing. To do it, select the Items, then apply the required action.
- Link Item(s) Automatically allows automatically linking selected Items to Magento Products based on the linking settings.
- Unlink Item(s) - allows unlinking selected Items from Magento Products.
- Move Item(s) to Listing - allows moving selected linked Items to M2E Pro Listing.
- Remove Item(s) - allows removing selected Items from the Unmanaged Listing.
Before M2E Pro starts managing your Unmanaged Items, you need to link them to the relevant Magento Products, then move them to M2E Pro Listing. Find the detailed instructions below.
Configuring Linking settings
In your Account configurations (Amazon > Configuration > Accounts > Unmanaged Listings), you can set up product linking preferences.
Firstly, select Magento Store View that will be associated with the Marketplace set for the current Account. A related Store View, which you select, will serve as a source of the Magento Product data whenever you are linking the Unmanaged Item to Magento Product.
Then you may enable the Product Linking option if you want to link the Unmanaged Items to Magento Products automatically based on the SKU, ASIN/ISBN, or Title values during the initial import.
Once the option is enabled, select a relevant Magento Attribute based on which the linking of Unmanaged Items should be performed. There are several options to choose from:
- Custom Label (SKU) - compares eBay Item Custom Label with Magento Product SKU, Magento Product ID, or selected Magento Attribute value.
- Listing Title - compares eBay Item title with Magento Product Name or selected Magento Attribute value.
- eBay Item ID - compares eBay Listing ID with the selected Magento Attribute value.
Linking to Magento Product
For correct synchronization of item data between eBay and Magento, you need to link the item to Magento Product. Make sure that the selected Magento Product fully corresponds to your eBay Item.
How to link Items automatically
To link the Unmanaged Items to Magento products automatically, i.e. based on the linking settings, complete the following steps:
- Select eBay Items that you want to link.
- Submit the Link Item(s) Automatically action.
How to link Items manually
You can link an individual Item to a relevant Magento Product manually. To do it, complete the following steps:
- Click Link next to the Item:
- In the opened window, click Link to this Product next to the relevant Magento Product:
After moving the Item to the M2E Pro Listing, you can change the Magento Product it is linked to. To relink your Item, go to eBay > Listings and apply the Link to another Magento Product action in the Settings View Mode.
Moving to M2E Pro Listing
After you link the Items, they can be moved to M2E Pro Listing. You can apply the Move action to each Item individually or manage items in bulk.
To move several eBay Items at once, you need to:
1. Filter out the linked Items.
2. Select all filtered Items.
3. Apply the Move Item(s) to Listing action.
4. In the opened window, click Move To This Listing next to the required M2E Pro Listing. You can create a new Listing on the fly by clicking Add New Listing.
If you need to move a single Item to M2E Pro Listing, please complete the following steps:
- Click Move next to the Item:
2. In the opened window, click Move To This Listing next to the required M2E Pro Listing or create a new one by clicking Add New Listing:
Assign eBay Category
There is no need to assign eBay categories to products when moving them from Unmanaged Listings to M2E Pro Listing. Products will be imported to M2E Pro along with the eBay category and default set of Item Specifics if such category was already added to M2E Pro. You will be able to configure the Item Specifics for categories that were not added to M2E Pro yet.
Product categories are displayed in the Unmanaged Listing grid.
To see categories for products you moved earlier, simply click Reset Unmanaged Listings under eBay > Listings > Unmanaged:
If the Unmanaged items have a category that was not present in M2E Pro before, and you are moving these items to M2E Pro Listing, a Set eBay Category grid will appear. Within the grid, you can manage items with the eBay categories that have not been configured in the Module yet.
Use the mass/individual Actions menu to assign the Item Specifics, edit primary/secondary eBay Category, reset the Category, etc.:
If the selected category has required Item Specifics, you will be asked to indicate them first (before the items are moved to M2E Pro Listing).
